May 2013:CIPTT is a supporting partner of the Balkan Venture Forum in Sofia, Bulgaria (forthcoming). The Forum will showcase Balkans’ high-tech innovators and entrepreneurs to an audience of international venture capital and corporate investors.
April 2013: CIPTT is publishing a book on “TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER IN THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA: RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SUCCESSFUL PUBLIC POLICIES”. This is a first-of-its-kind comprehensive review and analysis of the current state of R&D, innovation, technology transfer, and human capital in the Republic of Macedonia. Financial support of The World Bank, the U.S. Department of State (Fulbright Scholarships), and the European Commission (FP7 grant) is gratefully acknowledged. The book is being published by the State Industrial Property Office.

November 2012: CIPTT participates in the USAID project “Business Without Borders” conference, in Bitola, Macedonia. Bratislav Stankovic was one of the distinguished speakers. He presented on the topic “DO MACEDONIAN SMEs PARTICIPATE IN TRIPLE HELIX INNOVATION?“, with particular analysis of factors influencing R&D, innovation, public-private partnerships, and brain circulation in Macedonia.

November 2012: CIPTT participates in a European Commissions-organized Regional Conference on Higher Education focused on building a Western Balkans Platform on Education and Training, Dubrovnik, Croatia. The aim of this platform is to assist the Western Balkans with their reform efforts in the area of education and training, as well as to increase regional cooperation.

The workshops, conducted at the Business Hall of the Skopje Fair Congress Center, were attended by tens of interested participants from the private sector, the academia, and the government.
